Baylor Students, Faculty and Staff:

We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 omicron variant, which public health officials say is highly transmissible and expected to spread rapidly over the next few weeks.

Because of this, over the holidays we strongly encourage you to receive a COVID-19 booster shot, if you are eligible, before classes start on Jan. 18. You can find a COVID-19 vaccine and booster location near you at www.vaccines.gov.

We will provide more information about the spring semester in early January, based on the latest information available at that time.
